My name is your name, and I am in the Master's or Education Specialist or Doctoral Degree program in Instructional Technology in the School of Instructional Technology & Innovation at Kennesaw State University. I began the program Semester 20##, and I will graduate Semester 20##. I graduated from Georgia State University in 2005 with a bacheIor's degree in education. Immediately after graduation, I began teaching elementary school. After three years of teaching at the elementary school level, I moved to the middle school.
I currently teach physical science to 8th grade students at Mason Middle School in Cobb County. KSU's reputation in instructional technology led me to the Master's Degree program in the School of Instructional Technology & Innovation. My ultimate goal is to obtain a job as a technology coach. I plan to continue with my education by pursuing my doctoral degree in Instructional Technology at KSU.
This portfolio reflects my proficiency in the Georgia PSC Instructional Technology Standards (GaPSC-IT), in the International Society for Technology in Education Standards for Educators (ISTE-E), and my ability to lead students in achieving the ISTE Standards for Students (ISTE-S). While exploring the links, you will see a series of artifacts and reflections documenting the important work I have completed during this program. Each artifact represents mastery of the standard under which it is represented.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Kennesaw State University, and I am well-prepared to integrate technology into my classroom, assist other educators in using technology, and provide professional learning opportunities for them.
